Rainbow Butterfly Inspire

I created this for my friend but I liked it too much, so I kept it.  It hangs on my craft room wall.

I made her a different one that says Friend, instead.

All hand painted - lots of acrylic colors.

Butterfly is wood.

Wood beads, laser cut Inspire, hot glue shapes, chip board shapes, buttons, cardstock, etc.

 

Outdoor Fish Wall Art

I have made several of these for family and friends.  I kept this one for myself.

This one has so many things attached.  Kids could use it as an I-Spy game.

The dragonfly is hot glue. 

 

Jager Bottle Purple

 I had to make this purple because my BFF loves her Jager (Nasty!).  This was her bottle.  

Texture:  Mesh, Fibers, Paper Towel.

Large Key:  Hot glue made with an acrylic mould.  

Cog Wheels:  Cardstock, Fun Foam, and Hot Glue Moulds.

Acrylic paint colors:  Purple, blue, blacl

One of my favorite pieces

This was one of my first creations.  I think it looks like a rotary phone (yes, I am that old).

The big cog wheel is made with hot glue in an acrylic mould. 

Background cog wheels are made with cardstock.  (cut from Sizzix die-cut.)

Tiny Box

I found this box at a thrift store and it was pink.  (I need to remember to take before pictures)

Added some paper towel for texture and use multiple acrylic paint colors.

Work Pencil Holders

These were my first attempt at mixed media, and they started my mixed media adventure.  Both pieces are on my desk at work.  Also created a matching vase and frame (not shown yet).

• Recycled Paper Pencil holders:  Originally these were green and super sun faded.
• Acrylic Paint Colors:  Blue, Black, Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc.
• Embellishments:  Metal, paper flowers, buttons, beads, hot glue molds, wood shapes, etc.
• Texture:  Paper towel, texture paste, paper die cuts - I found that the more expensive paper towels keep the texture better.  Dollar store paper towel don't work well.
